Seabrook House Successful in Recession Due to the Acceptance of Most Insurances; Expands with New Hires Due to the Growth of the Company
Seabrook House Welcomes New Hires

Seabrook, NJ – May, 2009 - Seabrook House Inc. is one of the few treatment centers that accept most insurance. In this time of economic recession, Seabrook House is helping families find the courage to recover from their addiction by accepting most insurance plans to compensate for the cost of alcohol and drug treatment for the families.

With the ability to accept insurance, comes the demand for more professionals on staff to accommodate the higher patient census at Seabrook House. We would like to introduce the four newest employees to the company, in the key positions of Clinical Program Director and Director of Nursing at Seabrook House, Project Director at Seabrook House’s MatriArk Family Center and Clinical Supervisor at Seabrook West.

William J. Heran, Ph.D., LCSW - Clinical Director of Residential - Dr. Heran oversees all clinical aspects of the Seabrook House adult detox and residential programs. He earned his Master in Social Work degree from New York University and his Doctorate in Social Work from Smith College. He is a licensed clinical social worker with specialized training in family therapy. Prior to coming to Seabrook House, Dr. Heran was co-founder, owner and clinical director of Paradise Recovery residential addiction program in Honolulu, Hawaii. He brings over 20 years of clinical social work experience as well as program development, funding, recruitment and accreditation compliance. Dr. Heran integrates theory and practice, specifically using psychodynamic therapies in treating PTSD and co-occurring disorders.

Rosalee Westcott, BS, RN, MBA - Director of Nursing for Residential - Rosalee assists in the supervision and coordination of the activities of all nursing personnel in the medical department, along with all educational in-services for the facility. She earned her Registered Nurse License from Cumberland County College and her Master in Business Administration of Health Administration from Eastern University. She previously worked at Ann Klein Forensic Center in West Trenton, New Jersey, as the Supervising Program Development Specialist and spent time as a Charge Registered Nurse at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Ancora, New Jersey. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with psychiatric patients.

Kefa Milton Mong’are, MS, CADC - Program Director of Seabrook House’s MatriArk Program - As Program Director, Kefa oversees all planning, development, implementation, evaluation and direction of the MatriArk clinical program. He earned his Master in Human Resource Management from Wilmington College and he is currently pursuing a Master in Community Counseling. Prior to joining Seabrook House, Kefa was the Project Manager for an outpatient facility and Medical Case Management Coordinator for AIDS Coalition in Southern New Jersey. He has over 10 years of experience in providing individual and group clinical supervision, as well as program management, facilitation of education and treatment planning.

Virginia Dowling, MS, LADC - Clinical Supervisor at Seabrook West in Westfield, PA – “Ginger” holds dual Master’s Degrees in Community Psychology and Administration from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Connecticut. Her experience spans over 23 years of working in a variety of clinical settings. Ginger was responsible for clinical supervision and operations of two residential facilities as well as three intensive outpatient sites. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will enhance the already intensive 90-day step down program for men.
